Terms of service

1. The service. SparePlate operates a pooled meal fund connecting donors, meal recipients, and participating restaurants.
2. Donations are voluntary contributions to the pooled fund and are not payments for goods or services. Refunds are honored per our refund policy.
3. Passes are personal, non-transferable, limited to one covered meal per day, and may be paused or revoked for misuse.
4. Restaurants are reimbursed per redeemed meal at the agreed value and are independent businesses, not agents of SparePlate.
5. Acceptable use. No account sharing, no automated access, no attempts to defraud the fund.
6. Liability. The service is provided as-is; our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
