Privacy

Dignity is the product, so privacy is the default.

• Restaurants never see who you are. When a pass is scanned, staff see a green check and a meal description — no name, no photo, no story.
• We collect the minimum: contact info to reach you, a ZIP code to assign your community, and whatever you choose to tell us in your application.
• Application answers are read by our small review team only and are never shared, sold, or used for marketing.
• Fraud signals (device characteristics, IP address) are collected to keep passes one-per-person. They are coarse by design and never used for advertising.
• Public statistics are aggregates only — meal counts by community, never anything about an individual.
• Payments are processed by Stripe; card numbers never touch our servers. Emails are sent via Postmark.
• Deletion: email hello@spareplate.co and we'll delete your account and personal data, keeping only anonymized ledger records required for financial integrity.
